I had so much fun making this cake. I love the way it turned out. This is a 3 tier Backyardigans cake. Each tier is only 1 layer. Each layer is a different flavor, strawberry, yellow and french vanilla. This cake will feed 50 people. I used butter cream icing for the trees and grass and fondant flowers. Then I added the Backyardigans cake kit. I hope this birthday boy enjoys eating it as much as I enjoyed making it.
This is an 11x15 in. sheet cake. I made it half chocolate and half french vanilla. I used butter cream icing and fondant flowers. I covered the cake in a cornelli lace design and added chocolate butter cream icing for the borders. This cake will feed 35 people.
I made this birthday cake for my daughter's best friend. She is really into horses right now so I used the horse shoe pan and placed some toy horses on top. I used butter cream icing and fondant flowers. This cake should feed around 20 people.
I made this one layer 8in square cake for the nice people at Simpson Orthodontics. They have been so great with my daughter in caring for her teeth.
This is a yellow cake with chocolate butter cream icing. This cake will feed around 10/12 people.

I don't even know how many of the camo cakes I have made, people really seem to love them. I have several different ways to decorate them. This one is butter cream icing with a fondant carved deer. This is the 9x13in sheet cake and should feed 24 people.
I made these cakes for a baby's 1st birthday. The large cake is a 10in. bottom and an 8in on top. This cake should feed 25/30 people. I also made the baby a 6in smash cake. I used all butter cream icing except the ones are made of fondant.
Hi everyone my name is Renee. I am a 29 year old stay at home Mom of 3 beautiful children. I love being home with my kids and I know that my most important job is raising them. Even though I knew how much they needed me I wanted to be able to offer something to others. I wanted to feel needed outside of my home. So, in Feb. 2005 I signed up for 4 weeks of cake decorating classes. I loved it so much and it came so natural to me, I signed up for 8 more weeks of classes. At the end of April I had completed 12 weeks of Wilton cake classes and I was ready to show off what I had learned. I knew this was something I was going to enjoy doing for many years. I began making cakes for family and close friends and soon the word got out and I had people calling me that I didn't even know and that's how it all got started.
Cake decorating allows me to be very creative but has also been very challenging at times. I normally spend hours on each cake making it the best that I possibly can. I enjoy it so much and I am always happy with the outcome.
I invite you to take a look at all my cakes and feel free to leave comments.
Thanks for looking!
Renee
